If VST's are offered free then they are taken to be free to make your own royalty free songs, tunes and beats with and with no attribution to the creator unless clearly stated otherwise, but there would be restrictions if you just copied the sound as samples and tried to sell them as your own creation and I doubt the creator would allow you to decompile or reverse engineer the VST unless stated it was open.
