Aug 14, 2020 Next, I like to use 3 plugins by Soundtoys. I use Devil-Loc Delux to add some warm saturation / distortion to the signal. It’s a limiter meant to get massive drums, but it will work here for our stabs. I’m using the Delux version, but the baby brother Devil-Loc, while missing a few features, has the same saturation and distortion algorithms if you are looking to save few bucks.
